If you are a corporate guy (even a small company like ours), you need to efficiently be able to share calendars and calendar resources (and preview the shared entities) in order to efficiently schedule meetings. How about all the editing tools natively in MS Outlook Email which are totally absent from the Mac tools?2. What’s missing from both of the Mac apps?1. I guess I will have to wait for Mac Outlook 201X sometime in the future. For business purposes? Forget it. Maybe the Mac email, contact and calendar apps are good enough for college kids and personal use. I may simply have to go back to that for Outlook.I really hoped to like the Mac equivalents. Missing in the Mac apps.Prior to our upgrading from ES2003 to ES2010, I ran Win Outlook in a virtual desktop (Parallels… rock solid). I mostly use my iphone or ipad when I am out. Here is hopes that when the Mac App Store opens on January 6th, that I can buy word and excel separately. Oh It did… I cannot believe they took out the syncing capability. I was hoping Outlook would change things…. Entourage was bad enough (always creating duplicate items on me when syncing) that I went back to iCal and Apple Mail (Apple’s work great – just coming from the windows world, I was used to having my mail, tasks, and calendar all in one app). Crashing when I try to configure junk mail, conversations not threaded correctly, junk mail not filtering properly, no setting to default the junk window to use auto-preview (can you tell I think their junk mail implementation is junk?).Between the crashing, it breaking my CAC email encryption (which had worked flawlessly with Mac mail for over a year and now Mac mail can’t seem to get it right now even after I no longer use Outlook), not syncing calendars, not allowing RSS feeds… I just can’t think of anything whatsoever to recommend it by.Lets be clear – I *really* wanted it to work for me! I think Mac mail is just barely less junky than Outlook 2011, but not by much. Aside from the iCal complaints, of where there are many and well deserved (how can you even publish an “all in one” email/cal/notes/etc… application and *not* sync it?) but I found it abysmally buggy. People have been clammering for OneNote for the mac since it’s inception in windows back in 2003.Complete and utter disappointment. Notebook view in word is not the same. Looks like I am staying on Ver 2008 for now.On a side note – if MS really wants to make money, release OneNote for the mac. Izotope nectar keygenI’ll wait for the service release.
